This year's SLIAC Player of the Year is Emma Longcor, from Greenville University. The senior outfielder hit .613 with 4 home runs, 25 runs batted in, and 30 runs scored during conference play. She led all conference players in batting average, on base percentage, runs, hits, and runs batted in while also ranking in the top five in doubles, triples, and home runs. She had a hit in all 16 conference games and delivered 13 multiple hit games in conference play. Longcor is the fifth player in program history to win the award and the first since Natalee Moore in 2024.

Kailey Rushman, from Webster University, makes conference history by becoming the first player to take home both the SLIAC Pitcher of the Year and Freshman of the Year awards in the same season. The first-year hurler went 6-1 against conference opponents, recording a 1.56 earned-run average with 29 strikeouts. She recorded one shutout this season, with six complete games, and held opponents to just a .231 average. Rushman is the third Gorlok to win the Pitcher of the Year award and the eighth to win Freshman of the Year.

The 2026 Coach of the Year is Webster University's Al Sampson. Sampson, in his first year as head coach of the Gorloks, guided them to a 12-4 record in conference play. Picked #7 in the preseason poll, the Gorloks tied for 2nd place in the standings; increasing their conference win total from last year by four games. 

Our final major award is the Team Sportsmanship award which goes to Principia College. This award recognizes the team who best exemplifies the ideals and qualities of sportsmanship throughout the season.
