Schreiner University's Jania Dunigan reached a milestone win over the weekend, becoming the first SLIAC women's wrestler to top 40 wins in a season. The sophomore already set the conference record for wins in a season when she surpassed the 33 wins that former teammate Odelia Lopez recorded just last year. 

Dunigan notched five more wins over the weekend, improving her record to 44-7 overall this season. She now has two of top three wins in a season in conference history, winning 31 last year as a freshman. She also has 19 falls this season, breaking the previous mark of 18 set by Eureka College's Madison Farris in the 2023-24 season. Dunigan currently has 75 wins in her career, also a conference record.
