2026 SLIAC WOMEN'S WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP PAGE
The 2026 SLIAC Women's Wrestling Championship will take place this Friday, February 13th and will be hosted by Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois. The championship will include representatives from six teams competing for individual title and the conference team championship. Each school will be allowed two wrestlers per weight class with the top scorer counting towards the team point total which determines the team champion. The event begins at 12 p.m. on Friday and will be streamed live with SLIAC broadcasting partner
College Casts.
Krisean Buchana paces the Eureka College program with her nine wins this fall. She has recorded five of those wins by pin. Madison Farris will look to follow up her previous two All-Conference performances with another this weekend.

Huntingdon College has the league's best team winning percentage this season, with a .515 clip. They are led by Aniya Griffin, who has totaled 25 wins at 180 pounds including 12 by pin. Chloe Parets (124) and Jordan Epstein (103) both have 18 wins while Caden Collett (138) has 16 wins.

Lyon College returns to action for the first time in almost a month. The Scots are led by the duo of Rubi Gonzalez and D'Mysha James, who both earned All-Conference honors last year. Gonzalez is one of two individual champions in program history while all of James' nine wins this season has come by pin.

This marks the first season of competition for McMurry University. They are led by Kailyn Bridges' 15 wins, 12 by pin. Her .556 winning percentage also leads the team and she claimed a tournament title earlier this season at the Maverick Open. Kayla Jose is second on the team with 10 wins.

Schreiner University will look to defends its streak of two consecutive championships. The Mountaineers have a .512 team winning percentage this season, totaling over 300 individual wins. 44 of those victories are at the hands of Jania Dunigan. The 131 pound wrestler has set conference single-season wins, single-season pins, and career wins records this season; while winning three titles throughout the year. The team has five more wrestlers with over 20 wins this season including Jackelyn Sanchez at 103 pounds with 29 victories.
