Greenville University's Kenzie Kurdys and TyKiaza Jones put up an All-America performances this weekend at the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship.
Kurdys, a sophomore, finished 8th in the pole vault to earn First Team All-America honors. Kurdys opened the event by clearing her first two jumps with ease before moving up to 12'7.5". After missing on her first attempt at that height, she cleared on attempt number two.
Panther freshman TyKiaza Jones was a Second Team All-America performer this year. She finished 15th in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14.39 seconds.
Kurdys and Jones become the fourth and fifth athletes from the SLIAC to earn All-America honors in outdoor track and field; joining Chelsea Giles (Greenville in 2017), Cayden Sharp (Greenville in 2023), and Sara Yakana (Greenville in 2024).
Fellow Panther Talahiva Talanoa also competed at this weekend's championship, placing 17th in the hammer throw (155'10") and 20th in the shot put (42'8.75").
