Three members of the Greenville University women's track and field program will be headed to Geneva, Ohio this week to compete in the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Representing the SLIAC and Greenville University will be Talahiva Talanoa, Kenzie Kurdys, and TyKiaza Jones.
Talanoa qualified for two events; the shot put and hammer throw. The senior thrower had the nation's third best mark in the shot put this season at 48'0.75". Her best mark in the hammer throw this year was 178'6", which places her 8th in the nation.
Jones, a freshman, qualified in the 100 meter hurdles. She has a season best time of 14.22 seconds, ranking her 20th in Division III.
Kurdys, a sophomore, qualified in the pole vault. She has a season best mark of 12'9.5", which puts her 10th in the nation.
