The 2025 SLIAC men's cross country season wrapped up this weekend with regional competition. Seven member schools were in action over two different region meets.
Webster University was the league's top placer in the Midwest Regional held in Waverly, Iowa. The Gorloks finished 20th in the field of 32 teams, totaling 656 points. Ethan Nieroda placed 80th overall with a time of 26:48.
Principia College finished 22nd with a team score of 691. Zach Proctor paced Principia with a time of 27:32, placing 113th individually.
Greenville University took 25th place with 729 points. Kaden Einhorn was the team's top finisher, placing 130th with a time of 27:49.
Blackburn College finished 31st with 1000 points. Sam Burrows finished 187th with a time of 29:47.
Lyon College was 32nd with 1033 points. Collin Orvin led the Scots with a time of 32:02, finishing 211th overall.
Eureka College did not field a full team but had three runners compete. Bailey Webster led the way with a time of 27:24, placing 106th.
Spalding University was in action at the Great Lakes Reegional, finishing 35th in the field of 37 teams . Tobias Rice led the way with a time of 28:05, placing 174th individually.
