Last year's SLIAC Men's Golf Championship was the closest finish since 2008 with Grinnell College winning its first title. The Pioneers edged out two-time defending champion MUW by three strokes.
The Owls' Cameron James won the individual title, marking the second straight winner from the program. James carded a 66 in round two of the championship, the second best mark in conference history.
Lake Forest put together a strong season, with a 298.5 team average that is the third best in SLIAC history. Tyler Wengronowitz led the way with a 73.1 average, 10th best in a season by a SLIAC golfer.
Three golfers concluded their careers on the SLIAC top ten list for career average: Aidan Fonke, Westminster (5th), Pranav Nandakuma, Knox (7th), and John Blake Turner, Lyon (9th).
