The semifinal round of the 2026 SLIAC Baseball Tournament saw top seeded Webster University hold off Westminster College and Lyon College pick up an upset win over second-seeded Spalding University.

#1 Webster defeated #5 Westminster, 6-5 BOX SCORE

• The first inning featured eight combined runs with Webster holding the lead 5-3
• Cameron Schlegl rippe a two-run homerun to center field that put Westminster up 3-0
• Webster responded with five runs on five hits in the bottom of the inning
• The Gorloks tacked on another run in the third inning on an RBI single by Ethan Wielt
• Westminster chipped away, plating a run in the seventh and eight innings but couldn't find the tying run
• Reid Hietpas and Ethan Wielt each had three hits for Webster

#3 Lyon defeated #2 Spalding, 21-10 BOX SCORE

• Lyon scored a SLIAC tournament record 21 runs in their win on Thursday
• Spalding lead 4-3 heading into the fifth
• The Scots scored in four innings including a 12-run fifth inning
• Ashton Compton was 5-for-5 at the plate for Lyon with 4 RBI
• Every batter for Lyon got a hit in the game
• AJ Lopez led Spalding with a three-hit game
