Spalding University and Lyon College won their opening round games to advance to the semifinal round of the 2026 SLIAC Men's Soccer Tournament. The semifinal round will be held on Thursday, November 5th at Worldwide Technology Soccer Park in St. Louis, Mo.

#3 Spalding University defeated #6 Principia College - 3-2 BOX SCORE

• Spalding got on the board in the 16th minute with a goal from Ethan Welsh
• They added a penalty kick before half, taking a 2-0 into the break
• Principia cut into the lead in the 53rd minute on a goal fro Eduardo Salazar
• Spalding got that goal back late when Ryder Roberson buried his 4th of the season
• Principia's Alberto Hernandez converted a penalty with just 25-seconds left on the clock
• Spalding out shot Principia 23-15

#5 Lyon College defeated #4 Westminster College - 3-0 BOX SCORE

• Both teams recorded 10 shots in the game but Lyon was able to find the back of the net three times
• Cole James started the scoring early, at 15:02
• Tiago Donadon netted the next two goals to push the Scots to a win
• Lyon remains undefeated in tournament play since joining the SLIAC, winning its fourth consecutive game dating back to last year
