The Webster University men's soccer team completed an undefeated season, rolling through SLIAC regular season and tournament without a loss or tie, recording 10 total victories against conference opponents in 2026. The Gorloks won the 2026 tournament 9-2 over Greenville University, scoring the most goals in a championship game in conference history.

On a chilly fall evening, there was nothing cold about the Gorlok attack. They put up their first goal just 1:36 into the game off the foot of Scott Price. An early red card by a Panther defender opened the game up and the Gorloks were able to take advantage. The Gorloks tacked on two more goals in the first-half, including a second from Price.

Down a man, Greenville's Juan Fernandez-Macias Hijas scored in the 61st minute to give the Panthers some spark. However that was quickly erased on a goal by Webster's Alberto Duque Gonzalez just seven-minutes later.

Webster found the net three times in a 2:03 span just moments later before closing the scoring on back-to-back goals by Erik Fenes. Webster out shot Greenville 40-7 in the game as ten different Gorloks registered a point.

Webster secures the conference's automatic qualifier spot to the NCAA Division III tournament. Vladimir Sennikov was named the SLIAC Tournament MVP while teammates Scott Ruddy and Tom Walton were also selected to the All-Tournament team.

Greenville's Pablo Canola and Miguel Gomez were also named to the All-Tournament team as were Henrique Megale (Lyon College), Eduardo Salazar (Principia College), John Villatoro (Spalding University), and Dominic Gianino (Westminster College).
