Scott Price and Hunter Deeken were selected by league coaches as the top individual players during the 2025 SLIAC Men's Soccer season.
Price, a sophomore forward from Webster University, totaled 11 points in his eight conference games. Price was tied for second in the league with 6 goals and second in the league with 5 assists. He was a constant offensive threat, leading the league with 38 shots and had points in six of eight conference contests. Price is the 10th Gorlok to win the award and first since Aamahn Murvin won three in a row from 2020-22.
Deeken, a keeper, shined in net for Westminster College. The senior led the SLIAC with five shutouts; recording 32 saves and finishing second in the league with an .842 save percentage. His 0.73 goals-against average was also second in the league and he finished fourth in saves per game. Deeken becomes just the second Blue Jay to win the award, following Raul Belman in 2015.
The 2025 SLIAC Freshman of the Year is William Collier, a defender from Greenville University. Collier was a dominant presence along the back line. A starter for 6 of 7 conference games, Collier played 441 minutes against conference opponents. The Panthers allowed just four goals during that time and tied for the fewest goals allowed in SLIAC play this fall. Collier is the 5th Panther win the award and first since Juan Jose Herranz in 2018.
Chris Swift was chosen as the SLIAC Coach of the Year after guiding Greenville University to a 7-2 conference record and the regular season title. This marks the Panthers second straight regular season title and their first outright title since 2010. The Panthers are the top overall seed in this year's tournament and finished the regular season 9-4-3 overall. This marks Swift's second straight Coach of the Year award.
The final individual award goes to Lyon College as this year's Team Sportsmanship winner. This is the first time the program has been recognized for its sportsmanship.
