Gretchen Carie repeats as the SLIAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Year, becoming the 7th runner in conference history to do so. Carie, a senior at Greenville University, won the 2024 SLIAC individual championship earlier this month; her second straight title. She paced the Panthers in all six races this fall with a top 6K time of 22:41. Carie also picked up her fourth First Team All-Conference honor earlier this fall.

Her teammate, Alivia Clayton was the 2024 Freshman of the Year. Clayton is the second consecutive Panther to win the award and the 10th in program history. Clayton finished in the top five of the team in every race this fall with a high finish of 4th on three occassions. She finished 4th at the SLIAC Championship, where she had a season best time of 26:51.
