YEAR IN REVIEW - RECORD BOOK
Rebekkah Yunck, from Greenville University, was the lone SLIAC women's athlete to earn All-America honors in 2026. The freshman placed 14th in the javelin at nationals to earn Second Team honors. She becomes just the 6th woman in conference history to be named All-America in outdoor track and field. She also set the conference record with a 136'9" throw.
Meanwhile the Greenville program captured both the indoor and outdoor championships for a sixth straight year with Panther Abby Weishaar being named the Track Freshman of the Year in both seasons. Weishaar finished her freshman campaign with five gold medals and six total medals.
Riana Caldwell became the first Golden Eagle to be named Indoor Field Athlete of the Year while Principia's Amarachi Ejimadu was named the Indoor Track Athlete of the Year.
In the outdoor season it was a pair of seniors capping their careers with top individual awards. Hannah Myers, from Principia, was named the Field Athlete of the Year after sweeping all three jumping events. Greenville's Nora Atkins was the Track Athlete of the Year, collecting gold medals in both the 800-meters and 1500-meters.
