YEAR IN REVIEW - RECORD BOOK
It may seem hard to believe when you win your 21st conference championship, but in winning the 2025 SLIAC Women's Cross Country title the Greenville University program accomplished a feat that hadn't been accomplished since 2010. That feat was when runner Alexis Martinez became the first freshman to win the SLIAC individual title and just the fourth in conference history.
Martinez ran her way to five team top finishes during the season and was the league's top finisher at regionals while capturing two conference weekly awards. The Panthers just missed out on a clean sweep at the conference championship, taking the top three spots as well as spots five and six.
Her teammate Norah Atkins capped off her career with a second-place finish at the championship, earning All-Conference honors for the fourth time in her career. She is the 28th runner in conference history to achieve All-Conference honors four times in their career.
MUW's Hannah Owens also had her best performance since joining the league (8th place), recording a program best time of 25:35 at the championship.
