The 2026 SLIAC Men's Basketball All-Conference awards are headlined by Tray Huguley. The sophomore forward at Mississippi University for Women receives the league's top award, being selected the SLIAC Player of the Year by league coaches. Huguley was a force this season, garnering six Player of the Week awards while averaging 23.3 points and 11.4 rebounds per game during conference play. He was the only player in the league to average a double-double this season and ranked 2nd in conference play with a .650 field goal percentage, second in scoring, and first in rebounding. He goes into the record books as the first Owl to be selected Men's Basketball Player of the Year.
His teammate Joe Haze Austin was named the SLIAC Defensive Player of the Year. The sophomore forward led the league in steals with 61 and ranked second in blocked shots with 26. He was joined on the All-Defensive team by Jaylen Jeter (BC), Jamile Johnson (WC), Devonte McCampbell (SU), and Jemard Sykes II (WU).
Youth served Blackburn College well with a pair of freshmen taking home top honors. Evan Jordan was named the SLIAC Freshman of the Year while Jaylen Jeter was named the 6th Man of the Year. Jordan averaged 17.2 points per game during conference play with a pair of 30 points games to his name. He ranked second in the league in free-throw percentage and fifth in three-point field goals. Jeter put up 19.6 points per game and had a high of 36 points earlier this season.
The 2026 SLIAC Coach of the Year is Webster University's Chris Bunch. This is the eighth time in his career he has won the award. Bunch guided the Gorloks to a 15-1 conference record this season, including winning their first 15 SLIAC games. The Gorloks were the regular season champions, their first since 2023 and its first outright championship since 2020. Their 22 total wins during the regular season are a new program record.
The SLIAC also honors the players and team that compete with good sportsmanship. Webster University wins this year's team award while Payton Cook (BC), Jacob Gonzalez (EC), Caleb Johnson (GU), Jaaron Harriott (LC), Jackson Reid (MUW), Derek Schauman (PC), Dawsyn Miller (SU), Will Harmon (WU), and Matt Martucci (WC) are the team representatives.
