2026 SLIAC MEN'S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT PAGE

Six teams will battle this week for the 2026 SLIAC Men's Basketball Tournament title this week. The tournament starts on Tuesday with the quarterfinal round before continuing with the semifinal round on Thursday and concluding with the championship game on Saturday. Webster University earned the top overall seed and will host the semifinal round and championship game with each of those rounds being covered for free by SLIAC streaming partner College Casts.

Webster University missed out on an undefeated conference season but are still the #1 overall seed for the tournament thanks to their 15-1 SLIAC record. The Gorloks captured their 12th regular season championship in program history but their first since sharing the title in 2023.

The #2 seed, MUW comes into the tournament on a league-best five game winning streak, including being the only team to top Webster this season. The Owls are searching for their first tournament win after bowing out in the quarterfinal round of last year's tournament.

Lyon College will be the #3 seed and playing in its first SLIAC Tournament. The Scots are the top defensive team in the conference, allowing their opponents just 68.0 points per game.

Spalding University secured the #4 seed in this year's tournament after closing out the regular season by winning seven of their final ten games. The Golden Eagles are making their fifth straight tournament appearance after missing the previous five.

Greenville University is the #5 seed. The previous two programs before Greenville to win a SLIAC title won back-to-back championships; with the Panthers looking to join the club and defend last year's title.

Blackburn College enters the tournament field as the #6 seed after winning five of their last six games. The Beavers have won the second most tournament titles (5) in conference history.
