In a field consisting of three SLIAC schools, Lyon College's John Blake Turner paced the group of 37 golfers in the Roger Lundy Alabama Invasion.

Turner shot a two-round score of 143, winning the event by three strokes. Turner carded  74 in the first round of the event and followed with a tournament low round of 69 on day two. 

Lyon won the event with a team score of 587 as they had the top four golfers of the tournament field.
