The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) welcomes Chassidy Holloway as its next commissioner.

"There were many outstanding candidates within the final pool of applicants for the commissioner's position," said President Donald P. Lofe, Jr. "Each individual finalist had multiple strong points; however Chassidy Holloway continually rose to the top of the candidate group. Her continued development and success within her position at the Midwest Conference as well as her knowledge and experience at the national level were extraordinary. The SLIAC President's Council is extremely excited about the ability to hire Chassidy, and we all are looking forward to her leading and enhancing the overall stature of the SLIAC in the coming years."

President Lofe also thanked the SLIAC college presidents and administrators as well as Commissioner Kaiser and Associate Commissioner Lovellette for all of their collective and significant efforts throughout the entire candidate national search process.

Holloway comes to the SLIAC after spending the previous eight years with the Midwest Conference, the last three of which have been as the Associate Executive Director. After joining the Midwest Conference as the Director of Sport Administration, Holloway rose through the ranks as the Director of Sport Administration and External Operations and Assistant Executive Director before assuming her most recent position.

Over that time Holloway has been responsible for coordinating and assisting member institutions in the administration of conference championships, directed funds from the NCAA Strategic Initiatives Grant program, and led compliance education programs for staff education.

Holloway is an active member of Women Leaders in Sports, where she formed a leadership group for current and aspiring conference office administrators, member of the Professional Development Standing Committee for the Division III Associate Commissioner's Group, and has served on the Division III Women's Soccer Regional Advisory Committee.

In addition she has experience in overseeing Sports Information and Media Relations with the Midwest Conference, managing sports schedules, and serving as the conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Advisor.

"I would like to extend my sincere thanks to President Lofe, the members of the President's Council, the Administrative Council, and Dr. Kaiser for entrusting me with the opportunity to lead the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference," said Holloway. "I believe deeply in the SLIAC’s mission and the shared values of our member institutions to holistically develop students and ensure that athletics remain an integral part of that experience. I am truly humbled and look forward to serving and collaborating with the membership to continue elevating both the academic and athletic journey of our student-athletes. I’m also incredibly grateful to Heather Benning and the Midwest Conference for the eight formative years that allowed me to grow professionally, an experience that has shaped me and prepared me for this moment."

Holloway graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a degree in Kinesiology. She went on to earn her Master of Education from Howard Payne University in Sport and Wellness Leadership.

The national search was led by administrators and Presidents from SLIAC member schools. Holloway will be the fourth full-time commissioner of the SLIAC when she officially assumes the role on August 1, 2025. She follows Dr. Richard Kaiser, who is retiring after a 50 year career in college athletics and serving as the SLIAC commissioner for the last seven years; tied for the longest tenure in conference history.

"Chassidy is a very capable individual and definitely a rising star within her chosen profession," said Dr. Richard Kaiser. "Her multi-year experiences at the NCAA Division III conference office level, as well as within the NCAA, has provided her a sound foundation in which to grow the SLIAC toward the future."

The SLIAC, formed in 1989, is a NCAA Division III conference with ten full-time members, and an additional eight affiliate members, while sponsoring 17 intercollegiate conference championships.
