Greenville lost 120-93 to Wisconsin-LaCrosse in the opening round of the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament.
The loss snaps a 14 game winning streak for Greenville, with the 93 points being a season-low. They finished the game shooting 36-of-105 from the floor, for a season low 34-percent.
After trailing 16-9 with 15:23 on the clock in the first-half, the Panthers picked up back-to-back baskets from Grimmett Glenn and Ja'rod Webb to get back into the game. An Adrian Alvarez three and layup by Carlos Crespo tied the game at 18-18 with 13:50 left. The two teams traded baskets over the next 30-seconds with Greenville's Taiemm Comeaux evening the score at 20-20.
However that would be the last time the Panthers were even with the host school as they would miss their next seven shots.
Grimmett Glenn had a team high 16 points for Greenville, who finishes the season with a 20-8 overall record.
