Seventh Heaven for Pioneers

It is seventh heaven for Grinnell College, capturing a seventh consecutive conference championship and earning the SLIAC automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship in the spring. 

The Pioneers won the event by 43 strokes, finishing with a team score of 904. They recovered from their opening round of 309 with back-to-back rounds under 300. They have now shot under 300 in five of their last six championship rounds. The Pioneers were led by Kavya Keshav, who won her second career conference individual title with a 218. She becomes the first player in conference history to win multiple titles without doing so consecutively. Keshav opened the tournament with a 74 before finishing with back-to-back rounds of par 72. She was the only player in the tournament field to card a par for the event.

Lake Forest College made a valiant push, finishing in 2nd place for the third straight year, carding a 947. Gabrielle Krebs finished 3rd individually with a 228, closing the tournament out with her best round; a 74.

Coming in 3rd place was MUW with a 985. It marks the program's highest finish since joining the SLIAC in 2023. Isabel Velazquez and Addi Campbell tied for the team lead with a 242, finishing 10th individually.

Illinois College finished the three round event with a team score of 1028. Macie Petropoulos led the team with a 244, finishing 12th individually.

Lyon College placed 5th with a 1178 team score. The Scots top golfer was Avery Fore, who shot a 267 and finished 23rd overall.

The Blue Jays of Westminster College finished 6th with a 1262, their lowest team score since 2021. Caylee Anderson paced the team with a 289, placing 27th overall.

Blackburn College finished 7th but was able to lower their team score each day, finishing with a 1301. Caidy Tuetken was the top scorer for the Beavers, finishing with a 279 and 25th place overall.

Monmouth College carded a 1343 as a team. Lexie Campbell led the way with a 309, placing 34th in the field.

Eureka College finished the event with a team score of 1436. Ashlyn Voyles led the Red Devils with a 291, finishing 28th overall.

Bailey Birdsell represented Spalding University, finishing 20th overall with a 255. The top scoring individual in the tournament was Saya Geisendorfer with a 233, placing 6th.
