COMPLETE ROUND ONE SCORES
The 2025 SLIAC Women's Golf Championshp began on Sunday, October 5th with teams playing Birch Creek Golf Course in Union, Mo. Nine teams are competing for the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship in the spring with another six golfers participating as individuals.
Six-time defending champion Grinnell College holds the lead after day one with a team score of 309. Kavya Keshav paced the Pioneers with a 74 as four of the team's five golfers scored in the 70s. Lake Forest College sits in 2nd with a 328. Gabrielle Krebs is two strokes back of the individual leaderboard with a 76. MUW is in 3rd place with a team score of 335. Addi Campbell led the way for the Owls, shooting a 79.
Illinois College carded a 349 in round one with Macie Petropoulos leading the way with an 81 in her first collegiate championship round. Lyon College sits in 5th place after day one with a 398. Avery Fore and Austyn Teufel tied for the team lead with a 93. Westminster College carded a 407 with Caylee Anderson shooting a 90.
Blackburn College is in 7th with a 451. Caidy Tuetken was the top scorer for the Beavers with a 95. Monmouth College shot a 456 as Lexie Campbell led the team with a 103. Eureka College finished with a 495 as Ashlyn Voyles and Gabby Penberthy tied for the team lead with a 99.
Saya Geisendorfer was one of six individuals participating in the tournament and was the day one top finisher, shooting an 82.
The tournament continues on Monday with another staggered tee time starting at 10:00 a.m. The championship concludes on Tuesday with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.
