The United States Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced their Player of the Week honors. Iowa Wesleyan University's Rachel Williams (SR/Phoenix, AZ) has been named the USCAA DI Player of the Week for her role in helping Iowa Wesleyan pick up two wins last week.
In the first game, the Tigers took on NAIA DII opponent Mt. Mercy and Williams recorded 18 points and dished out 9 assists. She followed that performance with 32 points in an overtime win over SLIAC conference opponent Westminster College. With the two wins, the Tigers are on a six game winning streak heading into Christmas break. Williams averaged 25 points and 5.5 assists for the week and helped Iowa Wesleyan improve to 7-1 on the season.
