Meyer Named Spalding Head Coach

Spalding University Athletics Director, Roger Burkman announced that Austin Meyer will take over as Head Men's Golf Coach.

Meyer, a Louisville native and University of Louisville graduate, served as the Head Golf Professional at Lake Cumberland Golf Club, as well as the Assistant Golf Professional at Polo Fields, Louisville, Lake Forest and Hurstbourne Country Club.

A member of the Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA), Meyer played professionally on the eGolf Tour, US Pro Golf Tour and the NGA Hooters Tour, and currently competes in Kentucky PGA events where he has won five KPGA tournaments.  

Outside of golf, Meyer enjoys kayaking, fishing, hiking, running, as well as following the Louisville Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks.

Meyer lives in Louisville with his fiancée Brittany Gandia.
