YEAR IN REVIEW - RECORD BOOK

After winning a share of the regular season title in each of their first two years since joining the SLIAC, the 2025 season will go down for being the first time Lyon College won the tournament championship. Lyon, eligible for the post-season for the first time since joining the league, won all three of their tournament games becoming the 9th different program in conference history to hold the championship. 

Greenville meanwhile won the regular season title, earning at least a share for the second straight year. The Panthers finished 6-0-2 in conference play, becoming the first undefeated team in conference action since 2021.

Individually it was a pair of Blue Jays that burst onto the scene. Braedon Cairer, a junior, more thatn double his previous career total in assists, leading the league with 11. His 11 asssits on the season were the 7th most in NCAA Division III and tied him for 10th most in conference history. Deeken meanwhile entered the season having played in just four games but quckly took hold of the net, playing in 12 games and being named the SLIAC Defensive Player of the Year after leading the league in goals-against average and save percentage.
