The season came to a close for the Webster University women's basketball team with a 53-37 loss to Wisconsin-Oshkosh in the opening round of the 2026 NCAA Division III Championship.

Webster and the host Titans played a defensive game, with Webster being held to a season low in points. The score was just 17-12 at halftime before the offense picked up in the second-half. The Titans led 9-8 after the first-quarter and limited the Gorloks to just four points in the second quarter before opening the game up with 21 points in the third.

Webster shot just 30-percent in the game but the Gorlok defense was just as effective, holding the ranked Titans to 34-percent shooting. However the Titans held a big edge in rebounding (42-22) including grabbing 18 offensive rebounds.

Akaela Caquelin led Webster with 11 points and 5 rebounds as the Gorloks finish the year with a 19-9 record.
