Ethan Tuttle and Ryan Greifelt headline the list of All-Conference award winners for the 2025 SLIAC baseball season.
Tuttle was selected the SLIAC Player of the Year after hitting .519 in his 18 conference games. The senior infielder finished with a conference high 40 hits with 10 doubles, two triples, and two home runs. He scored 35 times and drove in 33 while swiping 13 bases. This is the fifth time in program history they boast the conference's top player with the last time being in 2021 when Eric Meyer won the award.
This year's SLIAC Pitcher of the Year is Ryan Greifelt from Webster University. Greifelt, a sophomore, won all six of his starts in conference play, finishing with a 1.54 earned-run average. He worked 41 innings, limiting opponents to just 24 hits while striking out 46. He is the first Gorlok to win the award since Matt Mulhearn in 2021.
The SLIAC Freshman of the Year is Conor Fitzpatrick from Eureka College. The outfielder batted .382 with 15 runs batted in during conference play. He delivered 26 hits with four doubles and seven stolen bases during conference action while scoring 20 times. This marks the first time in program history they have had an individual award winner.
Webster University's Bill Kurich was voted the SLIAC Coach of the Year. Kurich, in his 19th season at the helm of the Gorloks wins his 11th award. He guided the Gorloks to a 17-1 conference record, going 33-7 in the regular season while winning the program's 18th regular season title.
Fontbonne University was voted by league coaches to receive the 2025 SLIAC Team Sportsmanship award which encapsulates the conference's ideals of sportsmanship.
