The Greenville University women's soccer 2024 season came to a close in the first round of the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship, falling to Calvin Univeristy 4-0.
Calving opened the scoring the 21st minute but it wasn't without a valiant effort by Greenville keeper Addison Miller. Calvin netted two quick goals at the start of the second-half, scoring just 1:20 apart to take a commanding 3-0 lead before adding a fourth goal in the 74th minute.
Calvin peppered Greenville with 24 shots as Miller made eight saves in the game. Greenville finished with 5 shots, just two on goal.
Greenville ends the year with a 11-8-2 record while Calvin improves to 15-2-2 overall and will face the University of Chicago in the regional championship game.
