It's a busy week for the SLIAC with the 2009 Men's and Women's Soccer and Volleyball Tournaments all taking place this week. The Men's Soccer Tournament begins tomorrow, Wednesday, November 4, with Greenville College and Webster University hosting the two semifinal games. Greenville captured the Regular Season SLIAC Crown to draw the #1-seed in the tournament. Webster is the #2-seed, while Fontbonne University and Principia College are the #3 and #4 seeds respectively.

The Women's Soccer Tournament begins on Thursday, November 5, with Principia and Webster hosting the two semifinal games. The Panthers won their third consecutive Regular Season Conference Championship and as the #1-seed will host #4-seeded Fontbonne. Webster, the #2-seed, will host #3-seed Greenville.

Both the men's and women's soccer tournament championship games will be held this Saturday, November 7, at the highest remaining seed. Times for both games are to be determined.

The Webster volleyball squad won their third consecutive SLIAC Regular Season Title after going undefeated at 16-0 in conference play. The Gorloks will host the 2009 SLIAC Tournament this Saturday, November 7, and as the #1-seed will host #4-seeded Fontbonne at 2:00pm. #2-seed Greenville will face #3-seed Eureka College at 4:00 pm. The two semifinal winners will face off in the championship at 7:00 pm.
