Eureka College's Narish Punjabi, a junior from Washington, Ill., has been named the SLIAC Men's Golfer of the Week for the week of April 13-19.

Punjabi was the top finisher for the Red Devils at both the Illinois College John McNaughton Memorial and the St. Francis Spring Invitational last week. He shot a one-over par 73 at the McNaughton Memorial to finish fourth out of 52 golfers competing. Punjabi followed that with a one-over par 72 at the St. Francis Spring Invitational, where he placed second out of 43 competitors. His 72 also tied the career-low round in Eureka history.

Maryville University's Sam Carlson, a sophomore from Lake St. Louis, Mo. (Wentzville Holt), has been named the SLIAC Men's Golfer of the Week for the week of April 6-12. This marks the second time this season that he has earned the honor, and it's the fifth consecutive week for a Maryville golfer to be named Player of the Week.

Carlson was the top golfer for Maryville at the Big Blue Spring Classic hosted by Millikin University last weekend. He shot back-to-back rounds of 75 to place in a tie for eighth out of 112 golfers competing. The Saints tied for third out of 18 teams with a score of 319-306-625.

Maryville University's Nick Profancik, a senior from Centralia, Ill., has been named the SLIAC Men's Golfer of the Week for the week of March 30-April 5. This marks the third time this season that he has earned the honor, and it's the fourth consecutive week for a Maryville golfer to be named Player of the Week.

Profancik shot a two round score of 152 (78-74) to finish in a tie for 15th place out of 119 golfers competing at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational held at Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Ill. He was the top finisher for the Saints, who placed 11th out of 20 teams. Profancik also posted the best score among four SLIAC schools competing at the Invitational.

Maryville University's Sam Carlson, a sophomore from Lake St. Louis, Mo. (Wentzville Holt), has been named the SLIAC Men's Golfer of the Week for the week of March 23-29.

Carlson tied for first place at Maryville's own Spring Invitational. He shot a 74 to finish three-over par, while helping Maryville to a second place finish overall. The Saints recorded a team score of 314, just four strokes behind Millikin University in first place. The two-day event was shortened to only one round due to wet playing conditions.

Maryville University's Nick Profancik, a senior from Centralia, Ill., has been named the SLIAC Men's Golfer of the Week for the week of March 9-15. This is the second consecutive week he has earned the honor.

Profancik shot a two-round score of 151 (76-75) to place third out of 56 golfers at the Millikin Spring Opener held at Oak Terrace Golf Club in Pana, Ill. He also helped the Saints to a first place finish out of seven teams competing. Maryville, who shot a overall low team score of 303 on the second day, won by four shots over second place Monmouth College (Ill.) with a team score of 619.

Maryville University's Nick Profancik, a senior from Centralia, Ill., has been named the SLIAC Men's Golfer of the Week for the week of March 2-8.

Profancik, the two-time defending SLIAC Champion, opened his 2009 campaign with a 13th place finish out of 62 golfers at the Badger Spring Invitational hosted by Spring Hill College in Mobile, Ala. He shot rounds of 77-82 to finish 15-over par with a total score of 159.
