FONTBONNE SOCCER, SOFTBALL PLAYERS GET
"WRAPPED" UP IN THE HOLIDAY SEASON
ST. LOUIS - More than 30 members of the Fontbonne University men’s
soccer and women’s softball teams donated their time over the holiday
season to help the Community Action Agency of St. Louis County (CAASTLC)
during their Winter Wonderland event. The players helped hundreds of
under privileged families wrap Christmas presents all day and evening at
the CAASTLC facility in Overland, Missouri.
“The Fontbonne
athletes were a valuable asset to the success of our program,” said
CAASTLC Program Administration Director Georgie Donahue. “The players
assisted with everything from setting up the room to helping parents
pick out age appropriate toys to wrapping toys and even carrying out
packages to the cars.”
